I think there is so much talk about soy product that I sometimes forget that they are actually a bean
However today, in my ignorance, I purchased about a 1lb of soybeans for $2.00 at the farmer's market. Does anyone have any good ideas of what to do with these? Can I just eat them plain?
Otherwise today I ate leftover chicken burritos for lunch and our roommate was nice enough to take us (me and DH) out to dinner after we went biking. DH made him a new computer... DH is good at that kind of thing.

ReplyDeleteThere are a couple recipes on allrecipes.com using soybeans... (I love this site because you can usually trust the rating system to tell you which recipes to try and which to avoid).
I don't have any personal experience with soybeans though. Good luck!

ReplyDeleteSoy beans can be used to replace just about any type of bean in a given recipe and will still taste exceptionally good. My favorite snack, though, is edamame and all that requires is salt and water to boil the beans in! :)
